About Patricia Foss

Pat Foss lived in Michigan all her life until retirement at which time she moved to Florida. While in Michigan she stayed busy raising a family and working for the United States Postal Service.

After moving to Florida, she saw a facsimile of a paper tole picture that reminded her of one she had done many years ago and decided to rekindle the joy of the art. A few years later of cutting, shaping, building and making improvements, Pat started showing her work.

She has had displays at Tarpon Coast Bank, Selby Gardens , Englewood Art Center , Lemon Bay Playhouse , and has displayed at several juried shows. Her pictures have won many awards and praise.

Three Dimensional Paper Sculpture is a better way to describe Pat's work because of the depth she gains by using several layers. Because of the interest of others to learn this art of paper sculpture, she is teaching this at the Englewood Art Center.
